Country/Band display

Post by K2WLO »

I had a QSO on 446.000Mhz and it doesn't show up on the "Country/Band display" window after I run the Log Check Robot. I also had a QSO on 146.580 with the same station and it is accounted for.
I added and labeled the band in "custom lists" as 440 first, then thought maybe it should be 432. Neither work. I'm just wondering what I'm doing wrong.

Hi John

I think the band 'pass' for the band display is 430-440MHz for 70cm - do you have an extended allocation for ther 70cm band in the US?

The allocation here in the US is 420-450 for 70cm.
Where do I set the band "pass"? I'm not sure I understand your answer.
Just to clarify, I went to the menu bar, then options/settings/custom lists/add band. I then added 440. When I click on a QSO from the US the "Country/band display" lights up like a Christmas tree...except for anything 440.
It may also be called the "W/C DXCC" window????

Hi all,
I have no problem with 70cm. I have added 432 in Option/ setting/ custom/ band and now I tried to write a QSO on 446.900 without any problem.....

Please note in above image; there are no QSOs in the 432 row when I do have one.

That is interesting. What is the frequency allocation for 70cm in Europe?

I just edited my log and changed the Freq from 446.000 to 440.000 and Vlasta was correct. Log Check Robot recognized it and it is now accounted for. Is this an easy software fix for the next update, Colin?
