DXCC - QSL CONFIRMED

Post by Arnaldo »

Hello
I need help
I have a problem, in DATABASE/DXCC/EDIT, I number of countries confirmed in RTTY is larger than the one of DIGI MODES..... BECAUSE????
It should be larger because DIGI MODES INCLUE RTTY, BPSK31 ETC.
Thanks

DXCC - QSL CONFIRMED

Post by G0CUZ »

Hi Gerald / Arnaldo.

Long time users (sufferers?) of Winlog32 may have this problem.

More recent versions of Winlog32 add a trailing space character " " to the end of any digi mode added to the DXCC database, this enables queries to be made for either ALL digi modes together or individual modes.

It can be corrected by opening DXCC database and query 'Worked' and Mode set to 'DIGI MODES'.
In mode column enter cursor at end of enetered mode lets say "RTTY" and see if there is a trailing space so it will be like "RTTY ", you can run the cursor along the chacters to check this as of course the space will not be visible!

When all digi modes are edited with the trailing space, it should report correctly.

This change is only necessary in the DXCC database DO NOT CHANGE THE LOG 'Mode' field

Do NOT add trailing space character to other modes! (SSB CW etc)
