one or two users have previously mentioned intercc eing Winlog32 with MixW software, so I am enabling a DDE interface to the MixW software, if there are any MixW users who are also using Winlog32, I would appreciate some help testing the interface.

MixW has it's own log keeping facilty but I am limiting the interface to just log entry tracking e.g. entering call, date, time etc into Winlog32.

I do not use digital modes myself and do not have much interest, so I have no practical experience of MixW and how it is used and how best to integrate logkeeping with it, so I DO need some user input to develop this feature.

Hello Colin.

Here I am back.

The most important things to input are : Call - Mode - Freq. - Date -
UTC - Name - QTH - RST_Send - RST_Received.

I hope this will put you in the right direction.

Hi Robert

Thanks for the info.

I have now obtained pernmission to enable the DDE link to MixW, and have already done some initial testing.

The QSO details are Added to Winlog when 'SAVE' button is pressed in MixW, at the same time the QSO is saved automatically in Winlog32

At the moment there is no checking of previous QSO and Database like with normal input to Winlog32, but will may add this later.

The first job is to get the interface right, please note:
There is NO provision for cross editing once a QSO has been saved in MixW
Editing a QSO in MixW that has already been saved will NOT change any QSO entered into Winlog32.
Deleting a QSO from MixW will not delete the QSO fro Winlog32.

Work continues and a test file will be available shortly, please drop me an email so that i can send you the test file.

Hello Collin

Thanks for the MixW DDE interface in the latest WL32 version.
It works just fine, but I miss the –name- and –QTH- data.

The Call transfer from DX-cluster window works also just fine.

I use a Yaesu FT-857, so I wonder if you have any planes to add more rigs to the cat interface.

Thanks again for your great job with the WL32 log. I have used it for many years now.
