Maps not working...

Hi Colin et al

Something weird has happened with my install on my laptop, a Pentium III running Windows ME. Despite entering my registration number and installing the map zips, they don't work? (?)

Is there a plugin I'm missing, a box to tick, is anyone having the same trouble? It is working fine on the other machine, an older Pentium II running Windows 98, any ideas?

hi Keith

Check your Winlog32 version - should be 1.2 or later.

Check that you have the prefix database auto 'ON' (rely's on Country data)

Check that the maps are in the folder (Winlog)\MAPS wheras (winlog) is the installed folder.

Check that the 'map' icon appears on the toolbar?

Check your Prefix database version. Menu/databases/Prefix - Updated. should be later than 28/04/2000.

Winlog32 showing 'registered' status (menu/Help/About)?

If no joy after using these pointers drop me an email.

Thanks for your prompt reply, the version is v1.9, everything you suggested I had already checked and the registration details appear as they should.

I've discovered the problem, my own fault as not all my maps are unzipped into the Maps folder
