ADIF files from MixW 2.06 to WINLOG32
ADIF files from MixW 2.06 to WINLOG32
Hi folks...
How do I integrate two sets of ADIF files?
Or an ADIF file with hand entered log entries?
This WINLOG32 has a LOT of capabilities but it's HARD to learn!

Hi Brian
It should be possible to add two ADIF files together in a text edition (Notepad) e.g. with cut n' paste method, remove the header off the second ADIF file, remove all header text down to and including the <EOH> marker, ADIF also works OK without any header.
Not sure if you mean that you want to hand write an ADIF, it's possible but certainly not worth the trouble.
Winlog32 will import ADIF into an existing Log, normally Logs are sorted by Date/Time order, so they should integrate OK, the best way would be to make a test Log and try it.
If you encounter any problems with the ADIF you are trying to import, send me a zipped copy of the file winlog@blueyonder.co.uk and I'll see if I can help.
