Add Spot to Database

Whilst alarms may be set for 70 MHz - it seems that it is not possible to get this band to auto-add to the cluster database as it is missing from the bands listed under the "Add to Cluster Database" option.
With more countries now being given 70 MHz privileges and the on-set of the
Es season , I wonder if it might be possible to correct this omission.

Regards & thanks for a great program

Hi Steve

This should not be a problem to add 70MHz - I do see it is missing

I have in the past asked for input on the DXCluster database and if it is being used much by anyone, there was no replies to this so is there any interest?

I did have some thoughts of removing the DXcluster database if it is not being used!
I am sure there are some guys who are not aware of this database feature, so please don't get confused with the normal DXcluster display.

Thank you Colin

Yes I am sure that a lot of people do not realise the full potential of the DX Cluster options and the DX Cluster database in particular. Personally I find it very useful to be able to review spots maybe over the previous few hours when I have been out of the shack. It is ideal to keep an eye on what is happening under Es propagation and I use it to good effect on 50MHz. Having recently built a transverter for 70MHz that is what prompted me to ask about adding 70 MHz to the list.

Just as a footnote

I have added the 70MHz option to 'Add to Cluster Database'

Will be in next version release.

Downloaded the latest version 4.9.1 today and pleased to see that it now has the 70 MHz band in the "Add to database" function.

Just in time for a short Es opening on the band this afternoon.

Thanks again
