QUIT WINLOG?

Post by G0CUZ »

Hi
I have been asked to remove the "QUIT WINLOG?" prompt.

This was added initially to avoid accidentaly quitting at an awkward moment due to inappropriate mouse action (!) or just too much juice intake.

I will be happy either way so will go with majority decision, please your comments here....do you want it removed or not?

QUIT WINLOG?

Hi Colin,

I would prefer to keep the prompt. It does not cost much time and will be useful in some cases.

Hi Colin,

I too would like to see the prompt left in.
I have been known to click the wrong button.

Hi Colin

I would think it is better left in - after all it is not a problem, but you may well have a problem sometime without it.

Hi Colin,
Leave the prompt in, saves any mistakes.

QUIT WINLOG?

This might be best made an option. I don't know how difficult it would be, but programs like Firefox allow the user to choose not to receivera warning when closing a window with multiple tabs, for example.

Just my tuppence worth :-)

I also think perhaps making the prompt a option would be a good idea then everyone gets the best of both worlds.

QUIT WINLOG?

Thanks to everyone who replied.

From the census it looks as though the "Quit Prompt" will be staying, however as it was not too much work, I have added an option to remove the "Quit Prompt" if you wish - this should keep everyone happy!

The prompt will stay as the default setting and I would recommend that you use winlog32 with this prompt.

There is no need for further input on the Forum on this subject, thanks.
