Hi & thanks for a great logging program
i realise that it would involve a lot of work, but would it be possible to "grab" the frequency / mode / etc. from the rig if a "cat" program was running in a future version ?
many thanks

Hi Chris
This is something many users have asked for, and it is something I have been looking at.
I am presently engaged in porting the software to an upgraded programming language. During this time I will be reviewing of all existing code and functions in Winlog32. When this is finished I will start work on this feature for Winlog32 v2.
I do not expect that this will take place until early next year however.
It does involve a lot or work as each manufacturer has a different CAT implementation, this includes differencies among their rigs too - it would seem that only Icom has adopted a sensible approach and it is Icom that I will initially support.

Hi Colin,
This sounds good to me too! I think Kenwood uses the same protocol across all rigs too? Certainly with the HF ones. Hint Hint
