wrong count in VHF locator database

Post by DL4KG »

Hello all,

I found that WL32 counts VHF double. If a locator field has been worked in SSB/CW it will counted again in FT8 mode. I wondered how my locator count suddenly increased from 504 to 600. After checking the database I found that all fields worked in FT8 were double if they have been worked in other modes before.

Hi Gerald

I will have to look into this, there does seem to be a problem with the counting, the display looks Ok, just the count is out, do you agree?

Hi Colin,

the content of the database looks fine, it seems to be just the wrong counting so far.

Best regards

OK Gerald

I have found the problem with he count, this was due to some recent work in the VHF database to make it multi-mode.

I have introduced a new counting method which should now be OK.

If you want a fix file, email me, I am not sure of new release date as yet.
