Hi

I have just checked my settings and they are the same as yours

I have just run the LOTW automation and get the following message

LoTW automation Started: 2014-03-22 19:59:06

Exporting File: C:\Winlog32\Output\LoTW_GU6EFB_20140322.adi
Exported 2 Records:
SUCCESS

Signing file: C:\Winlog32\Output\LoTW_GU6EFB_20140322.adi
Station Location: GU6EFB
SUCCESS

TQSL: Command syntax error
A manual .tq8 upload may be required

Have also just found this error message

TQSL Version 2.0 [v2.0]
Error: The selected station location could not be found
Final Status: Commmand Syntax Error (10)

A manual update works fine any thoughts?

Error Quesstion

Hi Keith et.al.

The problem is almost certainly the station location name as set in TQSL (the one you select when you manually sign the file.

The 'station location' in Winlog32 has nothing to do with the S/L in TQSL, it's an unfortunate naming convention, BUT both S/L must have the same name exactly for the automated process, for this reason I call my S/L 'G0CUZ' in both TQSL/Winlog32 and 'GJ0CUZ' for another log in both as an illustration, so whichever log is selected the correct S/L is sent to the TQSL function.

So inspect the name of the s/l in TQSL that you sign the file with and check it against the name of the S/L in Winlog32 if you have one, if not make one and call it the same, or change the name of the S/L in TQSL to the same as the S/L in Winlog32.

It'll work good when you do.

Hi Colin

Thanks for the pointer I have found my error.
The error was in my understanding of TQSL
in TQSL station location i had put Guernsey but it needed to be my call
I changed it and run LOTW and all run fine

Thanks again for the help
