running winlog32

Post by 180399 »

hello again all,
i may be about to aquire a 233mhz pc with a 4gb hdd but i was told that my programmes may not run on this machine, i presently use a 466 dell pc with 1.8gb hdd not too sure on the memory side but this machine runs winlog ok and office 2000 (from the disk) and dosent have any probs apart from when i broke it a few days ago but its ok now.
will winlog run ok on this machine or do i need something a bit more modern?
my main concern is the hard disc side as ive only got about 500mb left and that wont last me forever.i am on a low budget so truthful answers will be appreciated i wont be offended.
thanks for your help

running winlog32

Hello Simon,

go ahead with the 233 mhz pc. I ran Winlog32 on 166 mhz machine without problems. Also the hard disk size should be no problem, I used a 2 GB disk. I have about 8.000 QSOs in my log and I can still backup it on a normal 1.44 mb disk.
