Any chance of having the CQ Zone in the ADIF export?

Thanks

CQ Zone in ADIF Export

Under "SETTINGS and AUTO ADD" make sure you have CQ ZONE checked and see if that works. GL

CQ Zone in ADIF Export

Yes - that works if you switch on that Auto Add option and store the zone in the user field.

I was thinking of having the program export the CQ Zone without having to store it explicitly in the User field. The program "knows" which CQ Zone each QSO worked is in for the WAZ tracking.

CQ Zone in ADIF Export

Post by G0CUZ »

Hi Stuart
Winlog32 displays the CQ Zone 'on-the-fly', it is not stored in the log but generated from the Prefix look up database
The problem I have, is that it is not always accurate with the larger countries that span more than one zone e.g. Russia, USA, Canada etc. as it is not always easy to determin the zones in these cases and also these countries probably will make up the bulk of log QSOs.
It would not be a problem to export the zone with their correct ADIF tag but probably will be making myself more trouble because of the likely inaccuracies.
Better no data than inaccurate data?
