Re: backing up and reloading files on multiple computers
This might not be an "official" method but it works for me :D I have Winlog32 on two computers, one desktop for use at home and one netbook for portable. I am using Freefilesync application (in mirror mode) to keep a MIRROR COPY of my ENTIRE "Logs" folder (including the subfolder...

Re: Remarks
Hi Colin and Nico, This is not a feature that I use but I tried to reproduce the problem. I noticed that when any one of the two interfaces that I use (Fldigi and WSJT-X) is enabled, the "Add ALL Previous Remarks" stops working. When there is no interface enabled the auto add previous rema...

Re: Editing Qso ?
Normally, when you change something in a record and then navigate to another record or hit one of the "<" or ">" or "END" button the changes are written in the database.
There is no "special" procedure in order to edit a record.

Re: Kc's do not transfer.
Hi Bob and Colin, Once upon a time I bought something like this (same chipset) from g0oyq-steve's ebay shop. My desktop has a "real" COM port so I am using a well shielded DB9-DB9 cable and I have this as a backup. I am not using the USB to serial everyday but it worked fine with my TS-480...

Re: sort by date log page window after import
Hi Bertrand, I think that you are using an old version of Winlog32. You can download and install the latest version here Check in menu: Options -> Settings -> Page view, that the "LOG SORT ORDER" option is selected as "Date, Stime, QSONo" Probably the QSONo option is selected rig...

Re: Moment of truth
Hi Jim, I suppose that you have a .LOG file and a .INI file from winlog backup procedure. I think that you should make a fresh install and then use the menu File -> Maintenance -> File Maintenance Then you should use the Get Log Database and Get User Settings File buttons (these files are backuped e...

Re: Moment of truth
I think that someone must know what type of files you have in your backup device to be able to help you with the steps you should follow.
winlog LOG files? ADIF files? something else? which type?
