FT1000MP losing rig support

I've recently had the same problem. I have an FT-920 and I am using a USB to RS-232 cable. It had been fine for awhile but seems to act up on occasion now. I have to close rig control and reopen to restore order.

FT1000MP losing rig support

Dave,
What was the polling speed you found to work the best for you? I currently have mine set to 1000 (1 second).

QRZ.com

QRZ has changed the way software gets into their site. Colin will have to update Winlog32. Everyone is having to make updates since the change.

QRZ.com

<t>Colin,<br/> I found out what is going on with the QRZ look up from the cluster window. I accedently found that it is looking in the small "SEARCH CALLSIGN" window. In other words, if you right click in the cluster window and pick look up on QRZ.com, it will look up whatever call is in the "SEARCH...

rig control using USB to RS232 cable

<t>I have changed computers and now use one without an RS232 port. I have a USB to RS232 cable into port 4. Everything works fine, except when I click on the frequency on the band map it no longer jumps to the selected frequency. That was a feature I used often as DX spots appear on the map. Any sug...

rig control using USB to RS232 cable

As in "copy to log" from the cluster window? I'll have to give it a try, I'm not sure. I do know that I did "copy to log" from the DXCluster window and the frequency copied correctly into the log, but I was already on frequency. I'll have to check tonight if it QSY's.

rig control using USB to RS232 cable

<t>I tryed to QSY from the DXCluster window and it worked. So then I tried to QSY from the band map and it worked, too! I'm not sure why it wasn't the other night. I had previously had a problem with RF freezing the computer. So last night I put the tower down on the floor to get it away from the fe...
