Re: VHF locator database

The bug in the VHF database query has been fixed in latest versions. On the subject of the Grid Locator database, I have been pondering on whether to introduce and incorporate all modes to this database as per DXCC database, this will allow filtering specific modes including individual or grouped di...

Re: FT4

David et.al.

Just updated build 32 to include FT4 as a sub-mode with MFSK as parent mode as per latest ADIF3 spec.

Re: FT4

Hi David Before last release of Winlog32, I remember reading that there was some speculation about this mode being only experimental and the 'name' had not been decided upon, but obviously this has moved on if it has been released now, so probably this is the reason it is missing. There is nothing y...

Re: DELETING QSOs

I was wondering this too, there is no BULK delete function in Winlog32, it's too dangerous to include it!
Could be done with Access 97 easy enough though, perhaps this is what Eyran did?

Re: Winlog32 Shut Down

Hi Gerald

Thanks for the report.

If you find any common factor which always causes this problem, please report back.

I tend to use JTDX now, have not had any problems myself but will work on this when I have a little more to go on.

Re: VHF locator database

hi Gerald

Yes, it's a bug introduced recently when I made some changes to the way the queries are executed.

I have already fixed this but do not plan any updates at this time.

if it's causing you some grief, I can send you a fixed file - please contact me directly if you want.

Re: Convert J3E to SSB

Eyran

Download and re-install the latest version (rev #20) even if you have that version.

Re: Convert J3E to SSB

Thanks Gerald Hope all went OK. Although now I may have to re-think and put this option back as I have learned that one or two others have noticed this has gone missing, it was just another layer of complexity on top of the recent modes changes I had to make, but if I had realised it was such a conc...

Re: Convert J3E to SSB

Hi Gerald Yes, but only those files in the SUB-/LOGS directory as the /LOGS directory contains the actual log databases, but I think you know that. It is a good idea to re-populate these database after a time anyway, this makes sure that any discrepancies are corrected with current log data. The onl...

Re: Convert J3E to SSB

Hi Eyran Yes, you are correct about that observation The ADIF standard does not support J3e and other IARU modes, I have decided to deprecate the conversion process on import from other programs. If the file is imported from an ADIF that was GENERATED by Winlog32, the modes should still be the origi...
