Hi Richard,
Just use the IMPORT function (FILE > IMPORT) and your contacts will be added to your log.
Anyway, it is always a good idea to back up your log before importing news contacts.

The country or better said the DXCC reference is displayed on the QSO information page of each contact in Winlog. https://i.ibb.co/cFmd45G/winlog-display-dxcc.jpg Indeed this information doesn't appear directly to your log "lines". But with time and experience, callsign are great indicator...
