When i open log book program it comes up with no log available, !select a log data using 'change/select database'button"if still no log available,menu/file/new log'_'ADD LOG'then click ok it comes up with runtime error 429 "Active X component cant create object?" when i click on ok the program shuts down! Can you help please

Not sure what is causing the error, if you are a new user, then make sure you are using the latest version v2.3.
Close Winlog32
Open the folder where Winlog32 is installed to, (usually "C:\Program Files\Winlog32" - find the file "Winlog.ini"
Delete the "Winlog.ini" (user settings) file and restart Winlog32 - you will be promted "New User" - make a Log database - follow the on screen instructions.
N.B. The above recommendation will not work in earlier versions.
If following the above instructions and you still get an error, at what point do you get the error?
