No dunno what happened Les, maybe the WWV spot format had changed slightly from source - can't think of any other reason.

Good job you mentioned it though because when I was checking the new version v2 in this respect, I realised that I have not even included the Solar database option!, fixed that now though, wish I had the time to develope it further - like it was in Super Winlog with Graphs etc, ahh...maybe some day....

Incidentally have done some more work to v2 and the Solar database now has graph functions for SFI, A / K.

Only (latest) build 10 comes with these additions.

Hi Colin,
I'm slowly catching up with the updates ...but where can I find build 10
???? [B}]
I can remember Super Winlog but only just but that was when I was G7UYM ( Later
M0CJL)and that then was " BLOODY GREAT " but Winlog32 has by far surpassed the ealier version Many thanks to G7ULD now M0BKG who informed me of this Logging
program.
I have tried other Logging programs but I have always returned to Winlog32
many thanks Colin for a Great program and I plus many others( I Think) hope you never give in .

hi Les

You will have to download the complete v2 package to get build 10, the new download will upgrade any existing version - make sure that you install it into your existing install folder.

If you have been collecting the solar data then I'm sure you will find the charts very interesting.

N.B. The solar database is incorporated with the DXCluster database, if you delete the later then you will also loose the Solar data, I have been thinking of making the Solar database seperate.

I would also be interested in finding a source of solar data for years past in a table or database that I may be able to freely 'import' into the existing Solar database.

I hate to say it, but mine has started these symptoms again!

I'm going on to the DX Cluster and receiving the Solar data, but it's not going into the SFI database, any ideas? Sometimes the other data such as K and A figures appear, but not always!

Anyone else experiencing this? Using v2.4 Build 11

Hi All,
I have had this problem since Version 1.9 The A&K index there is no problem but the SFI goes OK for a couple of weeks then ZERO Report 4-5 days later the SFI starts to record again .. I'm still no closer in solving the problem ..All the data sent is the same as it has always been..
I'm using 2.4 build 11 for some unknown reason with build 12 WLNET will not work
on my computer ???????

Correction:- WL 2.4 Build 12 WLNET is working but still the problem with SFI
I have noticed that the K index does not go above 4 ( If the K index is 5 or 6 etc it doesn't show the Highest reading )..
I have also noticed that when you change the date EG:- Year Month low 2003 05
and the high 2004 01 once the month date reaches the same number the other month will follow ..there seems to be no way to keep ( in my case ) 2003 05
and 2004 01 as is .. ( Sorry if this seems a bit mixed up but I'm no EXPERT on writting things down .... but then we all make cock ups )????
Other than that the rest of Winlog 32 Build 12 is working " A " " OK " !!!
and I've no other problems !!!!!!!

In a way I'm glad that I'm not the only one who is experiencing this problem!

It's a pity there's no way of a manual entry when data is missed isn't it? Is it possible Colin?

Hi Keith,
You can enter SFI manually but it doesn't seem to make much
differance to the chart

Hi

Have just checked the solar infromation and also find that the SFI data
is not being logged.

The Dx Cluster here is a DXSpider cluster and outputs the data in the following format

WCY de DK0WCY-3 <18> : K=3 expK=0 A=22 R=42 SFI=93 SA=eru GMF=act Au=no

Can you have both options checked in cluster setup for both WWV and WCY or should it only be one of them ?
