SMTP Authentication

Hi Colin
Still trying to make the email alert system work from within winlog.
I seem to have traced my problems down to that we are only authenticating the POP3 user details but not the SMTP user.
As most ISP are trying to cut down on the amount of spam they now require authentication for the user on the SMTP port.
How can this be done in Winlog? As we seem to only be able authenticate POP3 users
