Importing specific ADIF items

When importing an ADIF file the fields to be imported are displayed. I would imagine those are determined by the actual .adi file I have open. I would like to be able to delete one or more of those fields. Specifically, the GRID field. The GRID field is generated automatically by some other logging programs and, for HF, is usually not accurate. The Winlog32 display is also needlessly cluttered by the grid locator being inclued in my "Remarks" column.

Is there a way to eliminate importing any field? Thanks.

Hi,

I would recommend you to download and run ADIFMASTER

http://www.adif-master.com-about.com/

This utility will allow you to edit your ADIF file and add/delete fields prior to importing in WL32.

Pascal, thanks for the info. The title of ADIF Master sounds as though it may do the trick!
