Confirmation codes

Post by N5PHT »

I suspect this has been answered and I apologize in advance for not finding the answer.

What do the confirmation codes mean: (in the Country/Band Display box)

C
CV
V

I realize they all mean the contact is confirmed but what is the difference in their use? Buro, LOTW, Direct??

C=confirmed (any paper qsl B for Bureau or D for Direct at the QSLIN field)
V=verified (LoTW)
CV=both of them

There's also B for Buro card, and D for direct if you want to distinguish them.

Ay, I think you're right on that but I've never imported data from eqsl and wouldn't do it manually as it's only valid for their own awards and WPX and I'm not sure how I'd merge the LoTW and eQSL data for WPX without much pain. :-)

(And I've already got wpx with some endorsements on the wall, don't need any more wallpaper! :-) )

I upload to eQSL for those folks who want it but pay very little attention to the thing...
