search prefix problem (bug)?

Post by DL4KG »

Hello all,

I typed R1M into the prefix search window and got a popup window that showed the following entry:
0 MHz -
7 MHz - A1A
14 MHZ - A1A
28 MHz - A1A

I tried several other prefixes but R1M seems to be the only one showing a 0 MHz entry. Is there any idea how to get rid of it?

Hi Gerald

Check in the DXCC database and see if there is any entry for R1M with a Band entry of "0" - you probably already did this, if there isn't then a null value must have got in somehow.

Try running the "REPAIR" option on the DXCC.MDB daatabse (menu/File/Maintenace)

If still no good you may be able to correct if you have Access 97 on your computer, don't use other (later) versions of Access!

If still no joy zip and send to me for repair.

Hi Colin,

many thanks for your help, all is working well. There is only one entry in my log which is still in the DXCC databse. I cannot find the 0 entry, may be it was a typing mistake by myself.
