Alarm Band sound prob

How do i manage to switch sound off....sound on/off in options doesnt seem to
make any difference in DXCLUSTER DATABASE options...sound seems to be loud compared to all my other sound utilised progs. No matter what I do i always get new iota alarm when it sees something new. I just want the colour alert not the cw sound which blows my eardrums off.
wife gets upset at 0100 am LOL

The "SoundOn" in the DXCluster only turns on/off the Spot arrival announcement, there is no sound switch for the Alarms.

I will make another option so that both or either are switchable.

I usually run my PC's with all system sound turned off, so this has never been a distraction for me or my family, but I do appologise to your XYL Ian!

I do hope to have v2.6 ready soon which will include this extra option.

Thought it was me...been switchin things abt fer months......
Wife will be delighted.
i am a future rock star and at least now my recordings wont be punctuated with
cw.....(wink wink)
