Odd suffixes

Post by G0CUZ »

From time to time you hear some odd or strange suffixes added to normal callsigns, whether theses are all legitimate or not - I have no idea - however in some circumstances it will give an ambigous result with the prefix lookup routine
If you must enter the callsign exactly as sent then here is the dodge....

Recent example:

W1AA/RNR will show as Russia

So enter this callsign like:

W1AA/ RNR it will now show correct USA

The leading space character before thr suffix does the trick
