Recreating Winlog32 Log

After a PC crash and rebuild I tried to restore WL32 from a complete backup image, problem is the log has 1914 QSO's but only about 1/3 of the QSO's appear in the log, but the rest of the WL32 is okay, so then went back to backup and tried reestablish the log by import export of ADIF, from the old backed up WL32 to the new one the Export Dialog window shows exporting the full 1914 QSO's but they don't show up even though I can see them in the backup on an outboard drive. Your help is appreciated.
