Importing file

Post by WB0MZB »

I downloaded and installed the program. When I open the file menu only New Log, Info Link, Maintenance and Latest Updated are in bold type so I can't access any other parts. I had WinLog on my computer but had to reload it. I have my logs on flash drive and would like import them. Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

I am also new to WinLog32 but I think that:

a)If you have your backup in ADIF format you must LOAD the log (Change/Select database and then the button LOAD) that was created with the first run and then at the Options->Settings->Backup settings menu to check the "Auto load log at startup".
Then you should be able to import your adif.
or
b) If you have your backup in LOG and/or databases format, you should use the File->Maintenance->File Maintenance menu.
