Kenwood TS2000X

Post by MM0ZIF »

Winlog32 is finally connecting to the TS2kX but It doesn't track the frequencies. I've got it set on Kenwood #1 set ups tried TS2000, TS2000E, TS2000X *latter is what I own

When I select a rig the com port speed is greyed out its set up as COM 4 9600 (Although with every other app I use higher speed settings) and the other settings are as per the TS2k Manual.

No matter what I try I can't make the display track the radio. Any ideas?

Hi,

I have the TS2000X running with WL32 without problems.
My settings are:
COM Port 1
RTS enabled
DTR enabled
Stop Bit 2
Baud Rate 9600
Delay value 1000000

Menue 56 in TS2000x is set for 9600bps

I hope that helps to solve your issue.

Do you have an external ASTU plugged in, something like the LDG KT-100? I have noticed that plugging in an external ASTU which connects to the "AT" connector on the rear panel seems to disable the CAT output from the "COM" connector. I guess the two sockets use the same address lines to output band data and that interferes with the CAT output?
