LoTW & Band Highlighting

Post by n5att »

When the LoTW highlighting is selected and a color (for example, red) assigned under the Alarm/Band tab, and a Band is selected (for example 18 Mhz with color red selected), the LoTW color overrides the band color for a spot on that band.

It would be better if the two highlightings could co-exist and one not eliminate the other. Perhaps LoTW only highlight a portion of the spot entry.

Thanks & 73,
Lawson

In my posting above I made an error in the examples. The LoTW color should be a different color than that of the Band selection. For example, yellow instead of red.

Senior moments abound.

LoTW & Band Highlighting

Hi Lawson

We are talking about the background color highlight - will not both work when both options are enabled, so what should we do....

Highlight only the frequency field for Band highlight
Highlight all but frequency field for LoTW highlight

Not much of a problem, if others are in agreement?

LoTW & Band Highlighting

Hi Colin,

Well, actually I'm not particular about how its done. Just thought that since both highlighting options are available in the menu and don't seem to be mutually exclusive, it would be nice if they could both be used w/o one overriding the other.

Whatever is the easiest and simpliest would be nice.

Great program whatever you decide.
