Multiple Display Monitors

Post by GU6EFB »

Hi Colin

Would it be possible to undock the various sheets that make up the log
and allow them to be placed unto other monitors.

Here is what I mean.

On my PC I have 4 LCD displays connected (OK overkill I no)
When using the winlog32 I have internet call book running as well as Dx cluster, DX atlas etc.
It would be nice to be able to move the sheets unto a monitor of my choice I know 4 monitors is over kill but even if we could spread out over two would be very useful.

Thanks again for a great logging program.

Hi Keith.

Thanks for the suggestion

Winlog32 was designed to have all windows contained within the main window, there ares some advantages gained for this,(like when you minimise Winlog32 all windows are minimised) the disadvantage is that there are no un-docked windows for the purpose you mention.

This is a design criteria, it is not impossible, but it will perhaps not please everyone.

I am not sure how practical it will be to set the windows optionally undockable (so that it can please everyone) or even if it can be done but will make some experiments with this in the coming weeks.
