DXCC Database corrections

<t>Hi Colin,<br/> I recently uploaded my log to ClubLog which promptly pointed out (correctly) that I had some errors in claimed DXCC entities (North vs South Cooks etc). I have corrected these in the log but now need to update the DXCC database.<br/> What the best way to do this please? Delete the ...

dupe checking

<r>Hi ?<br/> Colin is 100% correct in recommending you use contest software for contesting (however casual) and use Winlog for your DX log. Winlog is brilliant at this, the contest loggers are brilliant at what they do. If you want to try an excellent Windows based contest logger (freeware), try <UR...

CAT Support

Hi Colin,
This sounds good to me too! I think Kenwood uses the same protocol across all rigs too? Certainly with the HF ones. Hint Hint

dx cluster interface

<r>Hi Ian,<br/> Les seems to have hit the nail on the head, I am using Winpack with AGW Packet Engine so that's probably why I haven't noticed any missing spots. It all works FB here. Be aware that there is a new release of AGW out, November 2002, it only appears to be on one of his sites though: <U...

dx cluster interface

Hi Ian,
Apologies, I just did a detailed check of spots on Winpack vs what Winlog showed, you are correct, there is still a few missing, even when using AGW. I have emailed some data to Colin, will keep you informed on what we find.

Appointing DXCC

<t>Hi Peter,<br/> You certainly can. Type in the callsign and press Enter. When the DXCC Entity name appears to the right of the station call, simply double-click on the DXCC entity name and a dialogue box will pop up aking if you want to change the Country Allocation for [Callsign}. Just pick the c...

Advanced Log Robot

<t>Hi,<br/> The Robot already does what I think you are asking. I use it all the time for this after contests. I import the contest log (500 or so QSO's from the contest logger, SD) in ADIF format reload the log and then run the Robot over the new log entries, Make sure you check the "Auto" box and ...

Use "Long" time format

<t>Hi Colin,<br/> Thanks for the new contest logging serial number feature. One thing that would enhance this is use of the full timestamp 09:00:05 when logging qso's. At present the time appears to use short format e.g 09:00. When you are going well, you can log 4 contacts in one minute. Winlog the...
