Norfolk Island vs Terr. New Guinea
<t>Hello, all. I searched the forum for this issue, could not find anything, so hope this isn't already covered somewhere.<br/> <br/> I am getting an error when I try to log in my QSL received for VK9NT. Same error occurs for each QSO with VK9NT. When originally logged, all my VK9NT QSOs properly ap...

Norfolk Island vs Terr. New Guinea
<t>Hello, Colin. I do not envy your having to keep up with prefix/callsign exceptions!!<br/> <br/> The QSO dates are 5 May 2013 thru 9 May 2013.<br/> <br/> However, as mentioned in the initial post, the original logging of these QSOs did result in the correct country (Norfolk); and I also tested wit...

Norfolk Island vs Terr. New Guinea
<t>Hello again, Colin. Please pardon my persistence, but I must try again.<br/> <br/> Also, please note that this problem is not constant. I have added the "QSL in" information for a few dozen other QSLs received in the last few weeks, and I have had no other problems at all.<br/> <br/> Second optio...

HK0NA
<t>When I first worked/logged HK0NA, I did successfully change the country to Malpelo by double clicking the country box. I made the effective date the date of my first QSO with HK0NA. Since Colin probably has a permanent fix in the prefix file, I am now wondering if there is a specific date range (...

HK0NA
Hi, Colin. Thanks for confirming the use of a date range when the exception is included in the prefix date. That was my observation when experimenting with different QSO dates in the log with HK0NA.
Cheers,
John

New DXCC entities
<t>Colin - I must be doing something wrong, but I cannot find these new entities in the country list in the DXCC database. Here's the exact situation:<br/> 1) I have the latest of everything downloaded and installed.<br/> 2) When I enter a QSO with any of these new entities, the correct, new country...

New DXCC entities
<t>Ooops! OK, found a post describing the DXCC Database update (via File, Maintenance, File maintenance), so, backed up my log, clicked on "Update DXCC Database" (I had no idea that button was in that window), and, now all is well.<br/> <br/> How often should one do this update?<br/> <br/> ---with e...

DXCC Montenegro
<t>Colin, after reading this thread of messages just now, I did successfully update my DXCC list (all 336). However, I too was previously having problems getting the 4O3 prefix to automatically translate to Montenegro (instead of Yugoslavia). As a "bandaid" fix, I double-clicked on the info box show...
